Finance Services Senior Analyst – Bank Reconciliation

Processing, analyzing and reporting of financial transactions and information. Responsible for the integrity of nominated bank accounts, including cash management, bank reconciliations and provide support to QBE business units.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of team’s business plan in order to maximize productivity and performance
•Ensure all processes conducted are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
• Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures
• Comply on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures
•Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship between Regional Finance and GSSC Finance staff, with a particular emphasis on maintaining clean reconciliations of accounts
•Ensure the services are delivered as per SLA and maintain quality work consistently
• Ensure process controls are in place and working effectively
• Daily review of reconciliation of all QBENA bank accounts including cash balancing.
• Monthly completion and review of Blackline Reconciliations
• Daily review of cash flow report and monitoring of funding requirements.
• Provide general ledger and bank account reconciliation, whilst providing service and support to business units for bank reconciliations
•Provide technical expertise and mentoring to Finance Services Analyst and Specialist
• Support others in the team to assist in the achievement of their objectives

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 4 years relevant experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant

• Strong skills in spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures

• Strong Communication Skills

Preferred Knowledge

• Fundamental knowledge of organizational accounting procedures
