Local Regulatory Reporting Senior Data Specialist is specialized in providing solutions to the data needs for local regulatory reporting. Utilising the skills in analysing, identifying and reconciling attributes of regulatory reporting requirements contributes to finding the best solution to data needs of various egulatory reporting needs across various geographies. The Senior Data Specialist will analyse legacy processes and systemic and End User Computing solutions and current legacy data sources, check the availability of data in Approved data distributors and further develop and improve current and potenital future data source solutions. Raise and/or escalate the issues for those attributes unavailable; analyze data quality issues raise tickets with the appropriate units to resolve those. The Senior Data Specialist will liaise with several departments outside of Finance, many of them located overseas, thereby gaining exposure to a broad range of international stakeholders. The _Senior_ Specialist will potentially have to oversee and supervise the work of other members of the team. **Key Responsibilities** **:** The individual will be expected to live up to Citi’s leadership standards as an individual contributor. Responsibilities include: + Understand data requirements and challenges from reporting teams + Analyse data needs and identify data sources & assist in the transition from legacy to standard data + Work with Chief Data Office to register reporting attributes as Critical Data Elements + Investigate and escalate data quality issues using Citi's IMR process + Analyse and create data workflows to provide high quality data to regulatory reporting users + Facilitate constructive dialogue between multiple departments at global, regional and country level at various levels of seniority to provide effective solutions to meet strategic data goals + Liaise with Technology teams to ensure requirements mean the same for everyone on data processes and structures + Express a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results + Benefit from your organized personality, attention to detail and independent working style + Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance **Knowledge and Experience:** + 5+ years of work experience in data management, financial/management/risk reporting or system implementation roles + Familiarity with advanced data integration/transformation workflow tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx, Talend, Dataiku, Python etc) is an advantage + Experience with project end-to-end management is preferred (from Business Analysis point of view) + Technology aptitude: you will have to co-operate with Technology staff, we need you to speak their language **Skills:** + Excellent analytical skills + Interpersonal skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority using the English language + Quick learner, customer focused with ability to multi-task and work in fast paced changing environment **Qualifications:** + University / College degree or equivalent in finance /IT related + 5+ years of work experience in financial/management/risk reporting or system implementation roles **What we can offer you:** This role will offer you the opportunity to build a solid understanding of financial services operations and deepen your knowledge about effective regulatory requirements.
