Finance Specialist

As a Finance Specialist at Marsh Management Services Sweden, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance teams in Sweden and Malta. This position involves managing bank reconciliations, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) bookings, and collaborating with finance colleagues to ensure seamless operations.

We will count on you to:

Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.Oversee the processing of AP and AR transactions, maintaining organized records of invoices, payments, and receipts for efficient financial operations.Contribute to the preparation of management reports and assist in creating annual reports, providing clear insights into financial performance.Follow client instructions regarding financial transactions and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with expectations and assisting clients in meeting their reporting obligations.Liaise effectively with finance colleagues in Sweden and Malta to foster strong communication and teamwork.
 

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, with a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Fluent in both Swedish and English, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
 

What makes you stand out:

2-3 years of experience in a finance department, demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Strong multitasking abilities, as you will be working with several clients simultaneously.A proactive approach to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
