**Job Summary**
The **Finance Specialist** **Dealer Support** is responsible for dealer financial analysis, leading projects to support financial health, managing dealer credit and receivables, protecting company assets, and making improvement recommendations which contribute to financially sound and successful dealer operations.

**What You Will Do:**
+ **Dealer Financial Analysis/Financial Health:** Analyzes confidential financial reports and evaluates the financial strength in assigned region(s). Along with the Director of Finance, assists dealers in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Analyzes financial trends and problem areas affecting dealer performance and recommends solutions to the dealer as well as internal directors and vice presidents of distribution.
+ **Projects:** Leads/participates in projects to enhance/govern business processes that have been identified to drive financial improvements. Provides valuables insights to business partners for better decision-making.
+ **Asset Management:** Manages company receivables, payment policies, and agreements to optimize process efficiency, minimize past-due payments, and support business continuity.
+ **Financial Institution Relationship:** Analyzes existing lending arrangements and provides assistance to dealers in obtaining affordable financing and flexible credit line arrangements from financial institutions.
+ **Other Governance:** Monitors compliance to dealer finance procedures and performs other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
**What You Have:**
+ **Education/Experience:** The position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business administration, economics, or accounting.
+ **Financial Analysis:** Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
+ **Relationship Management:** Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
+ **Communicating Complex Concepts:** Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
+ **Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Project Management:** Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects to achieve project objectives.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
