Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
· Establish and maintain the company’s account management procedures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
· Plan, organize, and direct the company’s financial shared services unit, including the planning, budgeting, and accounting functions.
· Maintain accounting/internal controls to sustain financial security; assists in further defining department and company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
· Ensure financial integrity and compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.
· Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle.
· Provide coaching and career development for the team.
· Participate in other strategic finance, account, and business projects if needed.
