Finance Team Lead
**PRIMARY PURPOSE** **:** To supervise various aspects of the revenue cycle such as: write-off, cash application, refunds, reporting; to provide training and technical management to departmental staff; to assist in managing billing and revenue recognition policies and procedures, to support collections and billing leaders.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Ensures timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
+ Reviews all client true-ups for completeness and accuracy.
+ Assigns, distributes and coordinates work to ensure consistent, efficient and timely delivery of service.
+ Assists with monthly variance reporting.
+ Reviews account reconciliations completed by staff.
**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Reporting and analysis of revenue cycle.
+ Participate in monthly closing reconciliations.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Supports the organization's quality program(s).
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
+ Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
+ Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education & Licensing**
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Major in accounting field strongly preferred.
**Experience**
Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include four (4) years of experience in the accounting field and two (2) years of supervisory experience.
**Skills & Knowledge**
+ Proficient in accounting policies and practices
+ Good oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
+ PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ SQL knowledge
+ Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Results oriented
+ Leadership/management/motivational skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
