Finance Trainee, Order to Cash

We at Kalmar are seeking a talentedFinance Trainee, Order to Cashto deliver services in line with customers’ needs and expectations.
The position is full-time and requires working from the office for the first 6 months.
Main tasks and responsibilities
+ Manage and resolve remittance mismatches or cash application issues.
+ Assist with transactional activities and financial reporting operational tasks under supervision, related to the finance area.
+ Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
+ Support end-to-end accounting processes: Order to Cash, Invoice to Pay, Record to Report, HR activities, and ensure they are accurately reflected and accounted for in the books.
+ Assist Solution Owners and Process Owners in continuous improvement and the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures within the company.
+ Perform basic data entry and conduct general research within department systems to update and maintain account information.
+ Verify data entry of account information across multiple systems and ensure account details are cleared and matched correctly.
+ Support the Supervisor/TL in communication and escalation processes to ensure alignment among interested parties.
+ Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability.
What you’ll need to succeed
+ In the final years of study for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
+ 0-1 years of relevant experience in an international environment.
+ Detail-oriented.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Effective time management skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks.
+ Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
+ Process-oriented mindset.
+ Proficient in MS Office applications.
+ Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
