Department OverviewBusiness Finance team is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities. We gather, interpret and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts.
Business Finance department supports a wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations functions across Europe, Africa and North America region. We have several small subteams in Business Finance that's why our team is unique - almost each position in our team has a different scope. You will have an opportunity to understand how our company operates and improve your analytical skills.
Project Controlling (North America and Canada) team acts as a support for finance analysts and regional controllers for key Motorola system implementation projects in the North America region. The team works independently with regional controllers, local finance analysts and project managers.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist Team with the month-end close and reporting processes
New projects setup in Oracle
Revenue recognition
Balance sheet reconciliation (accruals, reserves, defer costs and revenue)
Data analysis and reporting
Exposure to multiple Functions within SSC, including AR and AP
Comply with Motorola Sox and Internal controls requirements
Support with any data entry or ad-hoc analyses as requested by TL or senior members of the Team
Basic Requirements
Student status
Field of study: Finance or Accounting
Very good English, at least level B2+
Knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet, accounting entries
Willingness to learn
Good analytical skills and ability to link various data sources to reach conclusions
Good Excel skills
