We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Financial Accountant to manage our financial activities and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. 

This is a part-time role, covering maternity leave, for 3 days per week until the end of June 2025.

Responsibilities:

Ensure Contract Performance: Achieve favorable client satisfaction by meeting contract KPIs, with a focus on financial, data, and risk management. Financial Management: Oversee or assist with accounting functions, including cash flow management, transactions, accounts payable/receivable, audits, and reporting. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and advice to the accounts and finance team to ensure effective performance and collaboration. Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, landlords, agents, contractors, and colleagues, and participate in internal and client meetings. Trust Account Supervision: Monitor and supervise trust account activities, including invoicing, payments, cash flow, reconciliations, and regular reporting of debtor and creditor activities. Budget and Reporting: Manage the development and review of property/facilities budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate variance reporting and adherence to financial goals.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in management accounting, preferably in the property and/or facilities management industries. Expertise in managing financials on an accruals basis, including preparing and analyzing monthly reports. Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial skills. Ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and report on property-related information and trends. Proficiency in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Tertiary qualifications in accounting. Membership in CPA or CA, or significant progress towards attaining membership.
