Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial  Accountant to join our team in Makati City, Philippines. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Prepare month end reports and schedules.Balance sheet accounts reconciliations (banks accounts, intercompany).Performs reconciliation via Blackline.Prepares and submit Audit schedules.Review Exploration records and expenses.Prepares Quarterly and Annual Expenditure Report for MGB (FTAA & other tenements).Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and proceduresCollaborate with internal and external auditors during auditsMonitor and report on key financial performance indicatorsEnsure compliance with local and international financial regulationsAssist in financial analysis and insights to support decision-makingAssist in budgeting and forecasting processesMaintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPreferably a Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in the financial services sectorProficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skillsStrong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracyOutstanding time management and organisational abilitiesAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesGood understanding of financial services industry regulations and compliance requirementsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment

Additional InformationBased in Makati City on a 5 days on/2 days off compressed work week
