Financial Administration (Financial Reporting Focus) Intermediate Analyst

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Financial Administration Intermediate Analyst (“Intermediate Analyst”) prepares quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for investment companies in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) and Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) requirements.

Prepare and/or review financial statements and SEC filings (e.g. N-CSR, N-CEN etc.)Assist with audits and provide support as necessaryPrepare quarterly Client/Board reportsRespond proactively to internal and external client inquiriesConduct training sessions to increase industry knowledgeWork on special projects, other regulatory filings and ad hoc requests as assigned

Qualifications

Job Specifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience3-5 years accounting or reporting experience in the registered investment company or financial services industryDemonstrate an intermediate understanding of investment types, mutual funds, ETFs, and financial marketsIntermediate experience working with Microsoft Office applications
