Its strategic objective is to accumulate 35 GW by 2025, 100 GW of operational renewables capacity by 2030 (end of April 2023 base: 18,2 GW)Given this ambitious growth agenda, the rapid pace of operations daily, and the regular changes, agility at scale and fast learning are imperatives to continue capturing market opportunities and honing our innovation capacities while industrializing processes and streamlining our organization Activities Transversal collaboration and internal processesActively contributes to and supports TotalEnergies’ growth and ambitions in the renewables sectorRegularly shares experiences and knowledge with the team to continuously improve the quality of investment management and transactions completedContributes to improving the group’s performance by promoting collaboration and teamworkWorks on a cross-functional basis with other teams of the TotalEnergies GroupProduces internal committee presentation (financial statements, economics, sensitivities) to senior management in relation to internal committees’ decision
Building and running project financial modelsEnsures that adequate support is being provided to Business Development to assess the project economics of new opportunitiesBuilds and maintains financial modeling for renewables projects to assess the projects’ economic profitability. Proposes financial optimizations to increase projects’ profitabilityDescribes and analyses financial outputsWorks with cross-functional teams and Business entities to ensure timely completion of valuations, due diligence, and integration planning, proposes standard reference valuation modelsKeeps himself/herself fully informed on key market developments and industry news/events
Bankability analysis (related to the project documentation and the envisaged structuring for the project.)In full coordination with internal divisions (notably tax and accounting, legal…) and external advisors, assists the more senior members of the team to perform the various due diligence with the objective to confirm a sound risk allocation for the projects, in line with the project finance/structured finance practiceContributes to the early identification of sources of financing and structures thereof available to projects (using non-recourse, limited-recourse, full recourse debt structures) Candidate Profile At least 2 years of relevant experience in project finance / direct investment in the infrastructure / renewables sectorMaster’s degree in finance or economicsStrong financial analysis and modeling skills.
