Description A technical school in North Houston is in need of a Financial Aid Assistant on a temporary to full-time basis. Duties include assisting students and parents with completing a FAFSA application, collecting financial paperwork, over the phone and face to face communication and packaging students to receive financial aid funds. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls, handling customer queries, and providing accurate information to the callers. • Proven track record in a call center customer service role, preferably within the non-profit sector. • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and resolve customer concerns effectively. • Proficiency in data entry, with a focus on detail and accuracy. • Experience in managing email correspondence, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Expertise in managing both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, utilizing these tools for data management and reporting. • Experience in order entry, processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. • Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings as required.
