Minimum Qualifications Education:
Prior experience using ERP system (i.e. Banner, PeopleSoft, etc.) preferred.
Two to three years of personal or mainframe computer experience.
Thorough Knowledge of Title IV program.
Three to five years financial aid experience.
Prior experience using SQL to extract data from a relational database.
Advanced knowledge of MS-office products (i.e. MS-Word, Access, PowerPoint, Projects, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Job Duties Description of Job Duty Description of Job Duty Assist with need analysis screening verification of all financial aid documents, loans processing, verification and packaging. Assist with the completion of all Financial Aid paperwork. Administer all activities of the Federal Work Study Program. Represent the institution at professional meetings as approved. Analyze Financial Aid applications and perform Federal verification. Assist in the coordination of policies and procedures with the Finance Office, Registrar’s Office and Admissions Office to maintain effective operational interface. Serve as a backup to assist in providing technical support to all users and maintain upgrades for Banner Financial Aid System. Coordinate the posting of Federal loan and scholarship funds to student accounts with the Cashier (including the refund process) within the Banner System. Meet with prospective students and families inquiring about the financial aid process. Assist in the development and administration of all financial aid policies and procedures. Assist in the coordination, preparation and distribution of all financial aid documents and literature (including updates to the policy and procedures manual required by the federal government). Assist with the maintenance (updates) of student financial aid records; review and process financial aid application, verify application data, determine eligibility. Assist with financial aid compliance responsibilities by creating and processing reports as needed assist with loan processing. Assist in maintaining an organized flow of data, files, and communications to internal and external customers. Support the delivery of federal, state and institutional student financial aid and services to students.

Immunization Immunization Requirements It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
