Work Experience

8-10 years of work experience, preferably in Financial Reporting, preferably in IT and/or ITeS company in a Global Environment. High level proficiency in data analytics and working with data collection tools/ software, seasoned experience in producing several Excel-based reporting.

Programming skills with querying languages, in excel, SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI etc.

Good understanding of statistical analysis and reporting packages.

Key Responsibilities

Gathering relevant information from multiple sources, structuring it in a way that allows for effective analysis, and then scrutinizing it to derive meaningful insights. Works across finance team and business teams, using data analysis and tools to ensure analytics are valid, meaningful, and provides actionable and comprehensive insights. Extracts and analyses data, statistics, and information from various sources and interpret and produce the relevant reports, summaries, and briefing notes that will be used to inform business decisions. Optimizes visual information for easier consumption and actionable metrics. Maintains processes for ensuring data accuracy and current relevance and representation.

Timeframe Management: Complete development tasks within the agreed-upon deadlines, unless agreed. Quality: Achieve dashboard usability and error-free SQL queries, with 100% adherence to data security standards. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights and findings to stakeholders, both verbally and through written reports. Problem-Solving Abilities: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify key business issues, analyze data, and recommend solutions to improve business performance.

Essential Knowledge and Analytical Skills

Good foundation of finance, predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. Programming skills with querying languages, in excel, SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI etc.
