Job Summary: The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Actively participating in assigned intercompany accounting:
Intercompany statements and confirmations
Account reconciliation
Journal entries
Eliminate intercompany out of balances
Participate in intercompany cash application
Responsible for US GAAP accounting, intercompany reporting and analyses and other ad hoc requests for information
Participation in month-end closings
Assist internal and external audits
Create and maintain process documentation
Prepare SOX controls
Maintain a good relationship with other finance departments
Preferred Experience / Skills:
0-1 year relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in Economics required (preferably in accounting)
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
Basic general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes
US GAAP or IFRS knowledge
Able to use MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of SAP or Oracle systems
Analytical ability
Excellent team player
Supportive attitude and good interpersonal skill set
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
