Financial Analyst, FP&A (Intelex)
**Position Overview** As an integral member of the Finance Team, the Financial Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for assembling and analyzing management reporting while simultaneously helping to support longer range planning initiatives. You will lend your expertise and your understanding of financial reporting, data gathering and analysis and related concepts to help assess the impact of decisions being made across the business. **Responsibilities And Deliverables** + Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance + Analyze and report variances versus Plan/Forecast & Current and Past Trends for assigned Revenue Streams and Cost Functions + Prepare standard Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly Financial Reports for analysis + Prepare financial models and ad-hoc reports to support strategic initiatives + Ensure the accuracy and classification of month end results to appropriate cost, revenue centers. + Compile month end department reporting for executives outlining revenues, costs, and headcount with variance analysis + Support monthly forecasting process by completing detailed reviews of costs, revenues and headcount as required + Become familiar with financial planning tools (Adaptive) to maintain and improve reporting and forecasting + Support the annual budget process for the organization including compiling detailed cost budgets for various departments as required + Act as a business partner and analytical support and assist in developing long term plans + Suggest, implement, and document process improvements including opportunities to automate + Support on ad hoc analysis projects as required + Understand and calculate the different types of sales commission/variable compensation across the organization **Key Deliverables** + Monthly financial results and forecast update + Annual budgeting and on-going forecast updates within the organization + Constant interaction and information gathering from company management and leaders as a business partner **Organizational Alignment** + Reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A + Works in collaboration with other members of the Finance Team. + Works to support key organizational business units **Qualifications:** + At least 3-5 years’ work experience in finance, accounting or related field + Strong financial acumen and analytical ability + Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy + Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment + Strong communication skills to teach financial concepts to both financial and non-financial peers + Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion + Prior FP&A and SaaS experience is preferred not required + Degree or Diploma in Accounting, or a related field, and or equivalent work experience. + Professional Accounting Designation or significant progress towards obtainment of the designation. + Technical Proficiencies: + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
