It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Finance Manager to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, manufacturing and FP&A, who thinks/acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement solutions, processes and controls.

Project Kuiper seeks a Financial Analyst to support the growing FP&A team and build new financial analysis and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to shape financial processes from the ground up in a new, high-growth team.

The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. This role requires regular interaction with senior executives, various business units, and multiple stakeholders across Amazon, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
• Ability to dive deep into variances to identify the root cause and write the explanation in a way that a broad audience can understand.
• Working with finance and business partners to build out new reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work with a variety of data sources and identify incomplete or inaccurate data.
• Identifies root causes of data issues, escalates discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a solution.
• Ability to create financial reports and streamline data.
