We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our WAM Europe team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to serve as the go-to person of the in-scope Accounting & Reporting processes (journal entries preparation, reconciliation, reporting and analysis).Have the skills and knowledge for the job? Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and completion of monthly/quarterly reporting to groups throughout ManulifePreparation and analysis of intercompany reconciliationsMonitoring of intercompany receipts and paymentsPreparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for various transactions such as expenses, revenues, accruals, and prepaymentsMonthly reconciliation of Accounting Units, Cost Center and GL bookings)Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree holders (Accounting, Finance, Business-courses) are welcome to applyExperience: At least one to two years of relevant experience in accounting, finance reporting and/or auditHybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of ExcelStrong technical accounting skills (including journal entries) with a solid understanding of the business environment and financial reporting structure to provide value-added analysisLet's make every day better together.
