Position Title: Channel MDF Financial Analyst
Reports to: FP&A Finance Manager
Role Overview: The Channel MDF Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing MDF for Juniper’s Channels Team. This position involves forecasting, reporting, and analyzing MDF for the GTM/Channels business segment, providing insights to business and finance leaders at regular intervals. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., SAC, SAP).
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting and Budgeting:
Develop and manage monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual budgets in collaboration with finance and business partners/leaders. Conduct in-depth analysis of OPEX drivers and lead forecast/budget review calls to finalize numbers. Prepare and submit forecast/budget packs to WW/Corporate Finance leaders.Month Close:
Supervise the MEC process, lead MEC review calls with finance partners, and ensure a thorough understanding and analysis of actuals. Pass journal entries and prepare MEC reporting packs, including variance explanations.Business Reviews and Presentations:
Support the senior leadership team during monthly and quarterly business reviews.Business Understanding:
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of business scenarios and handle complex ‘what-if’ situations efficiently.Reporting:
Prepare monthly reporting packages for various parameters such as headcount and cost trends.BI Tools:
Utilize and have hands-on experience with business intelligence applications.Balance Sheet:
Monitor balance sheet items related to segments and understand their impact on the P&L for accruals, forecasting, and budgeting.Ad-hoc Support:
Address ad-hoc requests from customers and manage master database activities.Qualifications:
4 or more years of experience in an FP&A role, with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across multiple functions and levels of the organization. Education: B. Com and MBA in Finance preferred. Expertise in MS Excel and financial modeling skills. Highly skilled in manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data to draw key insights. Ability to excel with limited direction and under ambiguous circumstances. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively across multiple functions and levels of management. Solid fundamental accounting knowledge.Preferred Attributes:
