As a Financial Analyst, the candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports and providing valuable insights to aid in the decision-making process. \r\n

Key Responsibilities Include:\r\nSupport the month-end process including account reconciliations, posting adjusted journal entries\r\nPrepare financial reports including monthly financial statements, budget variance analysis and forecasting models\r\nSupport basic GAAP understanding and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in financial reporting\r\nAssist with audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements\r\nMonitor and track financial performance against budget and forecast and identifying areas of concern or opportunity\r\nAssist with annual preparation of budget and long-term financial plans\r\nAnalyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance\r\n\r\n
