JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Purpose:

The role of the Financial Analyst is to ensure that accurate revenue and business unit reporting in conformance with Corporate and group policies and procedures.  The analyst must be able to interface with commercial business units and operations finance to ensure integrity of the data.  

Primary Duties:

Responsible for building 5-year Revenue projection for the Customer Business UnitsPrepare account reconciliation including analyzing and resolving any variances.Supports with Financial information for Capital requests.Maintain and liaise with the commercial team for Revenue and ROS projectionsSupport the controller with the budgeting and forecasting of all SG&A groups and facilities group.Support all Purchase Orders activity i.e., PO creation and resolution with BBC and/or requestor, open PO’s activity for accruals, timing on spendSupport the month/quarter/year end activities as necessary.Support the preparation of annual budget deliverables.Support internal and external audit activities as necessary.Preparation of various finance analysis relative to business performanceFixed Assets requestsAdhere to US GAAP, Adient policies and SOX requirementsSupport ad-hoc requests.

Job Specifications:

Four Year College Degree (Finance or Business desired)0 -3 experience as a financial analyst or previous internship experiencePrior experience in the Automotive Industry a plus.Experience with MS excel required.Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP would be an asset.Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills.Strong analytical/problem solving and decision-making skillsExcellent attention to detail and data entry skills
