Description Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturer seeking a meticulous and driven professional for a Financial Analyst and Accounting role. This position involves a balanced mix of responsibilities, combining financial analysis with core accounting tasks to contribute to the financial health and operational success of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess both strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in accounting principles, enabling them to deliver insights, reconcile data, ensure compliance, and manage financial reporting processes effectively. Primary Responsibilities: Accounting Duties (50%): + Perform monthly customer pricing with focus on accuracy and timeliness. + Manage AP payment runs on a weekly basis + Support monthly close processes in alignment with accounting guidelines and company deadlines. + Prepare comprehensive monthly financial packets for internal stakeholders. + Reconcile and track specific data, such as product adjustments, ensuring resolution of discrepancies. + Update and review standard costings to align with current operational realities. Financial Analyst Duties (50%): + Conduct thorough financial analysis to provide actionable insights for business decisions and strategic planning. + Collect, organize, and evaluate datasets, utilizing tools like pivot tables to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. + Prepare detailed financial reports and visual narratives for stakeholders to better understand performance metrics. + Collaborate across departments to facilitate clear communication of analytical findings. + Perform quantitative analysis to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial performance predictions. + Oversee and review metrics involving customer testing invoice data Key Competencies & Skills: + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in financial modeling and reporting. + Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and familiarity with accounting ERP + Solid understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycle management. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills for delivering insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis roles. + Previous experience with financial reconciliations, reporting, and forecasting. + Experience in manufacturing or a product-based organization. + Familiarity with standard costing methodologies or supply chain financial metrics.
