Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst, US Warranty, will be responsible for assisting the Global Warranty Financial Analysis Manager with regular reporting deliverables as well as business support for the broader Warranty Finance team, predominantly with respect to the US clients. The individual will also work to document and improve efficiencies within the financial reporting processes and procedures, as well as participate in special projects as needed. Key Responsibilities: + Provide support to the Global Warranty Finance team and by extension, the business, underwriting, actuarial, and O&S teams they partner with + Source and populate financial figures and metrics for periodic reporting deliverables covering production, losses, expenses, and head count , and others. + Support the annual and quarterly Strategic Planning and Forecasting processes by gathering inputs from the business teams and compiling the projected results to be shared with the Business + Work with the Finance team to prepare quarterly financial reporting deliverables, such as the Quarterly Narratives and Business Review Documents , to outline the performance of the business compared to relevant periods and projections. + Support the Finance team to improve documentation around processes and procedures + Participate in other special projects and/or coordination efforts that directly impact the financial reporting, budgeting and analysis of Global Warranty, and especially the US programs. The candidate will possess superb communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be proactive and demonstrate a willingness to challenge current processes and provide suggested efficiencies across the finance workstreams and deliverables. This individual must have finance and accounting experience and be a forward thinking and progressive contributor. He/she will have the capability to collaborate with the business teams as well as across various functional disciplines.
