We believe in the value of empowering our analysts with the resources to solve critical problems for the future of our business, which is why we need you.  The Financial Analyst will be responsible for completing the bank and suspense account reconciliations, supporting the monthly production, management and financial reporting and manage the revenue process for WAM Asia. We are looking for someone with:  

Bachelor’s degree concentrating in Accounting or Finance; CPA is an advantagePrior experience in a Finance role preferred, Insurance/Investment experience an advantageProven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requestsKnowledge of general ledger reporting tools and systemsExtensive experience with MS Excel including working with Macros and other Excel add-insStrong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbalProven self-starter with the ability to work independently with less supervisionExcels in a team environment interacting with both business and IT colleaguesExperience in working as an offsite support to business functions


On the job you will:  

Responsible for preparation of various bank and suspense reconciliationsAssist in the preparation of complete and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statementsResponsible for the completion of relevant GWAM journal entries and associated intercompany account, revenue, accruals and prepayments.Maintain control documentation and prepare audit requests related to internal and external audit requirementsResponsible for Asset Under Management (AUM) reporting and uploadPrepares monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) reportResponsible for Balance Sheet Reconciliation (CORE, IFRS, Local GAAP (LGAAP) Ledgers)Responsible for developing monthly and quarterly income statement and balance sheet trend analysis reports used to complete the income and balance sheet fluctuation analysis
