Job Description:

Position Summary: The Financial Analyst (FA) is a key part of the iRhythm FP&A team. This self-starting, highly communicative, detail focused individual will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager FP&A – International, other members of the FP&A team and members of the broader Finance team to support the reporting and analysis of the International business and other functions as needed. The FA will be responsible for month-end close processes, preparing reports, and analysis and providing guidance along with other a-hoc duties as required. The FA will help drive continuous improvement to team workflow through report automation. He or she will possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to solve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed, timely and accurate reports, metrics and analysis on financial results, variance to budget, and tracking to forecast, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Support monthly close process by performing initial transaction level reviews, preparing accruals and reclasses and working proactively with others to resolve any issues. Provide guidance and support to business partners on the purchase to pay process, particularly for requesting new suppliers and raising purchase requests. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified or part-qualified in Accounting Requires a thorough understanding of accounting processes. At least 2 years of related financial experience required. Experience with QAD or other equivalent ERP systems, and working across other systems such as Concur Advanced proficiency in Excel Excellent relationship skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels staff and outside professionals. Proven and demonstrated experience in reporting and transactional analysis; high level of proficiency required. Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

May be requested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent on business need.

Physical Requirements

Normal Office Environment Indoor work in a climate-controlled environment. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time
