Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Financial Analyst in the Houston, Texas office.


This position will be responsible for:

- Preparing monthly journal entries
- Preparing monthly close schedules
- Ensuring monthly close deadlines are met
- Reviewing financial statements and performing account reconciliations
- Analyzing financial statement activity
- Working closely with other departments in recording and analyzing financial data
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree
- 3 to 5 years Corporate Accounting Experience (would consider 2-3 years of Public Accounting)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlines
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Ability to analyze data and reach own conclusions
- Independent thinker with the ability to problem solve
- Proactive learner
- Takes accountability and strives to increase results
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work Overtime required for monthly closing activities

Desired Qualifications

- Upstream Oil and Gas experience / background a plus
- SAP experience a plus
- CPA a plus
