We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will be based out of ZeniMax’s headquarters in Rockville, MD. The Financial Analyst will work closely with business leaders to help lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasting, monthly close, and post close results analysis. They will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and modeling, developing financial forecast and projections, and providing insights to management to help guide strategic decision making.
Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Analyze monthly results and provide commentary explaining the variances against forecast, budget, and prior year performance.Support core FP&A activities, including quarterly forecasting and annual planning for respective business units, while maintaining data accuracy in financial systems.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand their financial needs and provide support in planning and execution. Work across Finance and Sales Planning and Analysis teams to gather and analyze revenue data and trends. Provide visibility into the financial performance of the business unit through continuous and consistent reporting, highlighting key drivers of change in the financial forecast.Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.Assist in the preparing of financial reports, presentations, and other materials for senior management.Assist in the maintenance of the financial budgeting and planning system.Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) or clearly demonstrated quantitative work experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to self-reviewAbility to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Skills Knowledge of major ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and planning software (Hyperion Planning/Adaptive Planning)Knowledge of GAAP/Non-GAAP and financial reporting requirements Salary RangeFinancial Analyst - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,000 - $120,000 per year.

The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
