ABOUT THE ROLE
CountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property and mortgage lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deepen and broaden analytical skills within a high-impact environment. Located at our Plano, TX office, the Financial Analyst will work closely with various departments in a visible role to drive cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include enhancing reporting, optimizing business processes, and contributing valuable insights to improve strategies, manage risk, and maximize profitability. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Rate Lock Desk operations, including Rate Sheet generation and distribution, locking loans, and securing commitments with investors. Responsible for all secondary market functions to facilitate loan sales, including generating loan tapes, uploading to investors, and resolving purchase errors. Responsible for all hedging activity including trades, pair offs, and broker/dealer allocations. Create and administers investor reporting for established investors including servicer certificates, escrow reconciliation, expense roll forward, and activity reports. Prepare all interim investor reporting. Responsible for servicing requirements for GSE’s, including cash remittance and investor reporting. Produce cash purchase advices for GSE loan sales. Reconcile cash and payables to the General Ledger for assigned investors, reporting variances to accounting for wires, corrections, etc. Prepare and submit Anti-money Laundering reports. Periodically add loans/assets to accounts. Generate periodic billing statements. Assist in the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects. Administer charge-off transactions for loans serviced for others. Prepare data for state audits, NMLS, MBFR, and HMDA requests. Responsible for monthly and quarterly management reports and accounting schedules. Prepares ad hoc reports as requested. Manage investor closings in the servicing system and administer servicing requirements for Ginnie Mae, including investor reporting, clearing rejects, finalizing summary reports, and trial balances. Reconcile cash and payables to Ginnie Mae, reporting variances to accounting for wires, corrections, etc. Administer the repurchasing of loans serviced for Ginnie Mae. Manage the transfer of loans within servicing systems. Administer servicing requirements for monthly VA and USDA loan reporting.
