Your Role at KIK

The Financial Analyst reports to the Senior Finance Manager.  In this role, you will ensure smooth, accurate invoicing processes and serve as the main point of contact for invoicing concerns. You are responsible for investigating billing discrepancies, preparing reconciliations, processing credits and rebills when necessary, and maintaining customer billing requirements data.  Additionally, you will collaborate with account managers to keep the master broker database updated, process monthly broker commission payments, ensure timely submission of supporting documents, and address broker payment discrepancies. Finally, you will maintain up-to-date invoicing SOPs, and post-sales data to the general ledger, conduct data analysis, and prepare reports as needed. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as the primary contact for invoicing related concerns Liaise with various internal/external stakeholders as required to resolve billing issues Validate billing data (PO, Quantity, Price, Signatures) Submit invoices to customers for processing Research billing discrepancies as identified Prepare and review billing reconciliations Validate credit requests and process credits/rebills if required  Monitor and maintain customer billing requirements master data Secure documents for billing per policy/process and customer requirements Liaise with account managers and stakeholders to ensure master broker database is updated Compute and process monthly broker commission payment requisitions Ensure supporting documents are promptly provided to broker groups Resolve other broker payment discrepancies as required  Prepare annual broker budget  Maintain invoicing SOP with updated processes as needed  Perform GL posting for sales data Compile and collect data to perform ad-hoc analysis or prepare reports Assist with month-end closing process

 

What You’ll Bring

Post-secondary degree or diploma with a concentration in accounting/finance Minimum of 1 year experience in related role preferred Understanding of general principles of accounting Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (mainly MS Excel) Experience using JDE/Oracle or large ERP in similar role Strong analytical and organizational skills  Problem analysis and problem-solving skills Good customer service orientation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter, with the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment Experience in a CPG or Manufacturing industry preferred
