Financial Analyst

Description:
• Produce reports, including daily sales, cash forecast and other month end reports • Assist with month end closing and annual audit process • Prepare and manage month end balance sheet account reconciliations • Prepare sales tax filings monthly • Perform variance analysis as requested • Evaluate processes for improvement • Conduct self in a manner that represents DMC Power’s core values • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar is required. • 5+ years of relevant work experience; 1 – 2 years in a manufacturing environment. • Problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities while being flexible. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail with the ability and willingness to meet business deadlines. • Collaborative mindset – can work well independently and as part of a team. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Technical experience required: 1) Proficient in use of common Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel 2) Experience working with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One preferred
