Our PSPC (Public Safety) Sector of L3Harris is looking for an experienced Finance professional to join our FP&A team. The FP&A Finance Specialist will play a critical role in monthly closing and reporting processes, corporate schedule submissions, Budget Planning, and driving process efficiencies through use of data application/tools. This individual is expected to contribute strong communication skills along with knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, and processes to contribute towards Sector goals.
Essential Functions:
Execute financial closing journals and reporting with accuracy and timeliness to meet month-end/quarter-end closing requirementsComplete PSPC Sector Corporate Finance Schedules and submit to GAO for consolidation of Financial Reporting and Footnote requirementsPartner with Functional Leaders across the business to develop and maintain Capital Acquisition Forecast in support of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Support the development and management of the AOP process, partnering with Finance owners to drive completion of Headcount and Department budgets on scheduleReconcile backlog and orders in support of SOX Controls, collaborating with Sales Ops, CCC, and Programs Finance when neededInvestigate and explain Financial Statement Flux variancesReconcile P&L and categorize into reportable business portfoliosPrepare monthly reporting metrics over Labor Utilization, Headcount, etc Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as requiredQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
