Reporting to the Director of FSSC-Reinsurance, the Financial Analyst will perform reinsurance accounting activities ensuring adherence to accounting models.
Responsibilities:
With respect to specific areas of focus, assist in analyzing reinsurance results and treaty activity; detect, investigate & explain irregularitiesAssist in timely and accurate delivery of routine reinsurance reporting deliverables, and compiling information for ad hoc requestsDemonstrate eagerness and initiative in contributing to reinsurance projects, and in learning complex technical subject matterShow proficiency with reporting and analysis toolsOther duties as assignedThroughout,

Undergraduate degree concentrating in Accounting; CPA is an advantage3+ years insurance industry and reinsurance would be an assetStrong computer skills using Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and AccessKnowledge of accounting/ledger systems, tools (e.g., Essbase/Smartview) and financial reporting processesAbility to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, proactively investigate issues, troubleshoot, learn new applications quickly, use judgement, and deliver timely and quality resultsStrong professional judgment, accountability, customer service, and eye for efficiency improvementsExcellentwritten and oral communication skillsanalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and integrate with international team membersWhen you join our team:
