Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry, located in Simi Valley, California. This role involves the continuous evaluation and reporting of program sales and margins, aiding the management team in forecast and budget development, and fulfilling weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements. Responsibilities: • Analyze and report on sales and margins of programs • Assist in generating forecasts and annual budgets • Contribute to the preparation of the strategic 5-year financial plan • Fulfill weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting commitments • Aid in forecasting and reporting of team headcount • Oversee month-end General Management analytics and costing processes • Carry out variance analysis based on actuals, spending plans, and trends, and collaborate with leadership to identify challenges and opportunities • Generate and analyze weekly and monthly reports for the management team • Prepare monthly cost reports in line with contract stipulations on specific contracts • Support with month-end closing duties. Requirements • Proven experience in Financial Analysis is a must for this role. • Proficiency in Sales Analysis & Reporting is required. • Prior experience in Budgeting and Forecasting is essential. • Demonstrated ability to perform Variance Analysis. • General Accounting knowledge is a prerequisite. • Must be adept at using Excel Formulas for financial calculations.
