Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Position Summary: The role of the Financial Analyst serial life is to provide oversight, analysis and support for the financial management of the company in regards to our evolution of sales and purchasing pricing actions. The Financial Analyst serial life is responsible to facilitate the month-end closing process and support proper booking of commercial and purchasing actions.  The Financial Analyst publishes monthly and weekly reports detailing evolution of our pricing, understanding the change in the actions and financial impact of those actions.  
The financial analyst participates in all controlling milestones including budgeting, month-end reporting, rolling forecasts and Mid Term Plan. The financial analyst supports ensuring the proper application and execution of the Faurecia policies in all the steps. The financial analyst supports different projects to support system automation, master data accuracy as well as coaching of our different partners regarding squeeze actions and reporting.

Responsibilities:

•    Consolidate financial data and prepare financial planning reports to support the Division Management Team as required.
•    Support construction of  weekly, forecast , annual Budget and Strategic Plan.
•    Provide documentation for internal and external audit purposes, ensuring rigorous application of internal controls.
•    Provide other ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the Management Team: net mandated equation, index updates… 
•    Provide reliable financial/controlling information:
o    Consolidate squeeze information of our different entities through the different forecast processes (budget, forecast, weekly…)
o    Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency 
•    Support and coach our partners regarding squeeze actions and their reporting
•    Support to ensure that the Sales & Purchase prices information are consistent with the Faurecia policies, correctly and regularly updated in the systems and if not support on corrective actions to drive the team to update timely while protecting for our financials
•    Identify and analyze the variances between the budgeted, forecasted and actual results and support the closure of the left to do actions
•    Assist CBU to implement profitable actions (through VAVE, repricing…) to drive VCM convergence
•    Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
•    Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Knowledge / Skills:

•    Proficient in MS Office software with high level of expertise in Excel.  Knowledgeable in Web based finance reporting systems such as Oracle preferred.

Education / Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree (in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering) or equivalent work experience required.
•    Ideal candidate will have a minimum 2+ years’ experience of working within a finance organization.
