The analyst provides support for various projects and assists in financial analysis and critical activities Responsibilities Monitoring key performance indicators and overall project activity. Analyzing data and producing insights to optimize group performance. Identifying problems and shortfalls and offering solutions. Maintaining current knowledge of customers. Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports. Track and provide supporting information to operations. Assist with Accounts Receivables and Cash Applications research. Assist with Procurement and Accounts Payable analysis and coding. Process revenue and invoicing as needed. Process transactional level data related to project activity including, but not limited to, production, equipment hours, labor hours. Support Project Controls position as needed during peak demand situations. Provide supporting analysis as required for estimating and bidding as requested. Respond to inquiries to support operations and finance which may include sensitive or confidential information. Participate in a wide variety of special projects and provide general administrative support as required. Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree with equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or related field. 2+ years construction based and/or utility based experience preferred. Proficiency in computer technology and Microsoft office applications with particularly strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formatting, etc. Viewpoint Vista and / or Qlik Analytics software experience helpful but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional research and reporting skills. Good interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and management to maintain positive working relationships. Excellent oral and written skills. Adaptability to work with varying daily activities under minimal supervision. 5 or more years experience in corporate financial analysis. Prior experience with Oracle R12 and Hyperion Essbase. Physical Demands and Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
