Financial Analyst Job ID 194812 Posted 25-Nov-2024 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Kuala Lumpur - Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia **About The Job** The Financial Analyst manages Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation (BSAR) in Cadency & Art Tools and involved in other Accounting Projects, is responsible for resolving Cadency system issues and provide enabling the execution of high-quality services to stakeholders. **What You’ll Do** + Cadency System support, tasks include: + Ensure the Cadency platform is onboard without any delay. + Acted as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide advice on Cadency system issues to users. + Liaise with the Global Cadency Run State team on any Cadency issues. + Prepare monthly reports to stakeholders. + Involve in process improvement and standardization to drive efficiency and effectiveness. + ART Tools support, task include: + Ensure the ART Tools platform is onboard without any delay. + Ensure the data upload into ART Tools platform is accurate. + Involve in process improvement and standardization to drive efficiency and effectiveness. + Must be able to support with extra-long hours to meet the Project deadline. + Support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of effective internal control and processes including SOX. + Ensure stakeholders’ queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner. + Ensure all period-end jobs are performed on a timely basis and delivery of service levels is in line with defined SLA / KPI targets. + Facilitate and complete any ad hoc task assigned by the supervisor or line manager. **What You’ll Need** + Degree in Accounting + Possess knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) / US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP) Accounting as well control frameworks such as SOX. + Good understanding of Finance systems & technical integrations (experience with the Cadency platform would be an advantage) + Able to work independently with strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and technical aptitude to build controls and identify errors. + Computer literate and competent in Excel, preferably with Excel data manipulation skills. + Team player with good communication & interpersonal skills. + Proficient in English both oral and written. + Minimum 1-year experience in the accounting field. + Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
