Pay Rate: $45 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to their team for an initial 3-month contract. This role is operating on a hybrid basis, 2 days a week in downtown Toronto. 

Responsibilities Include: Ensures that the accounts and financial records are being maintained according to International Financial Reporting Standards Produce quality financial management information to the business line, including accurate daily/weekly/monthly/yearly portfolio and consolidated level P&L and monthly balance sheet reporting Continuously review assigned desk procedures to ensure that they are effective, efficient, and controlled This team focuses on daily profit/loss reporting and balance sheet substantiation and analysis processes and extract specific data based on conditions Qualifications: 8+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or equivalent Excellent Excel skills - (VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc.) Proven experience with P&L reporting, balance sheet attestation and financial analysis of variations and trends Knowledge of interest rate derivative-Nice to Have Pursuing or has obtained CPA/CFA-Nice to Have SQL and VBA-Nice to Have If you are interested in this position please send your resume in Word to ryan@ifgpr.com today.
