The Financial Analyst, FP&A will support the Enterprise FP&A team as a key financial business partner to this area. The role will be part of a new FP&A data and reporting CoE. This person will be responsible for helping to develop new reports, monthly report generation, some business partnering with some operational business leads and ad hoc data pulls to help support the wider Financial Analysis team. The role will be part of a team that will support the business and the more senior Analyst team with data to enable them to make effective operational decisions to help drive the business forward.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support senior Analysts in business planning through accurate budgeting/forecastingMonthly report generation and improvement to meet business needsIdentify & lead process improvementBusiness partner who leverages relationships to drive financial planningWork with Controllership/Finance Shared Services to review and ensure the accuracy of financial reportsContinuously seek new ways to leverage business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision makingSupport data pulls and generation for advanced financial analyses to support ad-hoc requests utilizing complex scenario planningOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS
Good networking, team working and relationship management skillsGood business acumen; understands business implications of decisionsGood problem-solving skills and sound judgementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPointProven ability to work independentlyExperience in a matrixed, multi-site, multinational environment preferredExperience in life sciences industry preferredExperience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Essbase is preferredEDUCATION
