General Responsibilities
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Performs variance analysis between actual, prior and standard costs
• Analyze financial data and create cost and financial models for decision support
• Report on financial and cost performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
• Recommend changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processes
• Examine data to help with reducing cost in all operations
• Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Financial Planning & Analysis:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide insights and support for operational decision-making.Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods to determine cost impacts.Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of reports and tools, to optimize financial and operational efficiencies.Cost Accounting & Month-End Close:
Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial results are reported within the closing cycle.Prepare, reconcile, and report on cost accounting activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.Monitor, review and document costs related to inventory, labor, and material purchases.Conduct and coordinate physical inventory processes per annual plans.Support internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting guidelines, policies, and internal control procedures.#LI-MY1
