About the Role

HomeSafe Alliance is seeking a meticulous and analytical Financial Analyst to join our corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, with the ability to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across the organization. This position plays a critical role in monitoring financial performance and supporting senior management with financial analysis to drive business strategy.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Internal Controls Compliance:

Analyze and interpret revenue and cost data, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for enhancing strategies.Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.Support internal audits and ensure adherence to corporate governance and reporting standards.

Systems & Process Improvement / Ad-hoc reporting

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, and tracking of significant volumes of Move Task OrdersWork with the IT and accounting teams to ensure effective use of financial software and reporting tools for monthly reporting.Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by senior management, or external stakeholders.All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or a related fieldFamiliarity with financial software and ERP systems (Oracle, Costpoint, FCCS), and advanced Excel skills (working with VBA scripts etc.)Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insightsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communicator, able to present complex financial dataAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasksSelf-starter/proactive, expected to take initiative to research issues and provide solutionsExperience in medium to large-sized operational accounting environmentsDetail oriented and highly organizedAbility to deliver under tight deliverable deadlines

Note: This position is fully remote / work from home. HomeSafe will supply appropriate equipment, employee provided high speed internet is required.
