LOCATION: Tulare, CA

As a Financial Analyst, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to the development and monitoring of KPI’s, cost review and analysis, along with month-end close functions. The role includes supporting other department and plant initiatives. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will collaborate with the Controller, Associate Controller and the site leadership team to align duties with the company's goals and values.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
+ Develop and monitor daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s. Provide insights on trends and share results with site leadership and site industrial team.
+ Conduct studies on the production floor as part of loss analysis and inventory management. Report on deviations in performance to site management team.
+ Ensure completion of month-end close functions (journal entries, SAP, FAC Review) and monthly reporting of results. Responsible for providing an analysis of the drivers of results along with recommendations for future changes.
+ Perform cost analysis on Bill of Material’s, production orders and production losses. Perform loss modeling to identify areas of improvement.
+ Review monthly cost of supply and make corrections as needed. Report milk consumption to the State.
+ Establish and maintain internal controls consistent with corporate policies.
+ Provide leadership for financial integrity, strong controls and transactional activities, including SAP daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities.
+ Present financial information to site management team on a regular basis to aid in the understanding of business performance.
+ Support department and plant initiatives, including quality and safety.
Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
+ Bachelor's degree is required.
+ Majors in Accounting or Finance are preferred.
Experience
+ 3+ years of Accounting or Finance experience is required.
Certifications and specific knowledge
+ Understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting Principles is required.
