Our client, a Top financial institution in Canada is looking for a Financial Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, with high possibility of extension/conversion.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:  Preparing journal entries ensuring proper support is provided Analyze and prepare account reconciliations with proper support Analyze data to ensure accuracy, completeness Documenting processes as needed Seek efficiencies to streamline working papers and processes Prepare tax information from investments for annual tax return Support IFRS17 project as needed Requirements: Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience within insurance/banking/financial industry College or University Graduate with strong understanding of financial markets Hands on experience with IFRS 17 Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables with the ability to manipulate large data sets Excellent communication skills, strong team player and a self starter If you are interested & qualified for this opportunity, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to priyanka2@ifgpr.com If this is not the right opportunity for you, let's connect and I can share with you how IFG can help advance your career! #VMS
