Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to perform financial analysis, maintain accounting records, verify the integrity of management reports, assure inventory accuracy, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of the annual budget, including capital projects, spending, allocations, and calendarizations, and will participate in various special projects employing advanced accounting and financial analysis skills.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, interpret, and prepare financial spending data to assist management in day-to-day decisions.Assist in the development of the annual budget, including capital projects, spending, allocations, and calendarizations.Perform various cost studies and participate in special projects using advanced accounting and financial analysis skills.Maintain internal control and develop, improve, or design innovative methods for calculating, tracking, and controlling costs.Manage specific areas of responsibility, including fixed assets, stores' inventory, and spending reporting.Handle month-end closing processes, journal entries, and reports.Essential SkillsStrong financial analysis, finance, and accounting skills.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.Proficiency in Excel.Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and prioritize work.Team player who can also work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with fixed assets and inventory management.Experience in budget development and cost control.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00
