Position Description:

As a Financial Analyst, you will provide clear, accurate information for managing & analyzing the Americas financials, in accordance with accounting principles, government regulations and company practice and policy. You will also be responsible for financial reporting, consolidation, and forecasting which includes cash flow, inventory, revenue, various costs, and earnings.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

Complete financial reporting processes which include but are not limited to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close and budget procedures and functional analysis (including P&L, balance sheet, and miscellaneous accounts). Support monthly forecasting and annual plan processes, communicating variance to estimate/plan Work closely with accounting team to ensure financials are properly reflected. Works with financial transactions and related documentation within the organization. Participates in accounting practices of classifying and recording financial data. Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting to support leadership. Assist with any special projects/assignments as applicable.

 

Required Experience and Education:

Undergraduate Degree in accounting, finance, or other business field 3 years of accounting &/or financial analysis experience Experience working in an environment requiring analytical response to a variety of business issues

 

Personal Skills/Attributes/and Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and Hyperion Planning Highly organized & ability to manage concurrent deadlines & multiple priorities Ability to communicate to present information, both verbally & written effectively with all levels of the organization Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and a thorough understanding of GAAP
