What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:
Ensure timely closure of AP Reconciliations in Blackline as per the Reconciliation Calendar published by Controllership.Review all reconciliations and attached supports to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.Ensure Open Transactions are cleared as per agreed Finance Policy guidelines.Ensure adequate comments are updated against Aged Open Transactions describing research and follow ups done by Preparer.Ensure compliance to Finance Policies for e.g. Reconciliation policy, Provision and write off policy, Reconciliation Policy etc. for P2P ReconciliationsIdentify Improvement areas and give feedback to processing TeamEnsure seamless Internal Audit/ SOX Control tests and timely submission of required documents by JTP/GBT TeamAttend Monthly Legal Entity calls with controllership and highlight reconciliation issues for their support and escalation.Work with diverse groups for closure of open transactions i.e. Controllership, Billing Teams, Market Finance, Vendor relationship team, Net Suite/Blackline tech support team etc.Working closely with the external auditors (Big4/others) to understand the requirements and agree on the timelines to ensure that deadlines as per the local regulations are being met.Continuous focus on process improvements opportunitiesAssist Manager in projects related worksWhat We’re Looking For:
Graduate in Finance with Minimum 5 years of relevant experienceAdvanced Knowledge of GBT tools i.e. Net Suite, Blackline is preferableExcellent knowledge of P2P Process and its linkages with other process areasDomain knowledge- Good knowledge of E2E PTP process and its linkages with other functionsTechnical Skills – Demonstrates strong technical skills and demonstrate sound knowledge of GBT tools for Reconciliation research and reviews.Analytical Skills - Pays attention to detail, takes initiative to broaden his / her knowledge and demonstrates appropriate financial / analytical skills.Self-starter- needs minimal direction Presentation Skills – Effectively able to present financial data for meetings with Senior leadership and clearly articulates the issue and required support.Flexibility – Open to work in challenging situations, multi-tasking considering the Timelines and minimal direction.Client and Business Focus – Effectively handles difficult requests, builds trusting, long-term relationships with clients, helps the client to identify/define needs and manages client / business expectations.Teamwork – Gives evidence of being a strong team player, collaborates with others within and across teams, encourages other team members to participate and contribute and acknowledges others' contributions.Communication Skills – Communicates what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner and shares information / new ideas with othersCreativity/Innovation – Looks for new ways to improve current processes and develop creative solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical valueInfluencing Outcomes – Presents sound, persuasive rationale for ideas or opinions. Takes a position on issues and influences others' opinions and presents persuasive recommendations.
