Role Overview:
The Commercial Finance team within Trellix is team for the Planning, Forecasting and Reporting all financial topline metrics (Bookings, Revenue, Renewals, Retention). Additionally, this team is responsible for financial data integrity Trellix’ systems and is heavily involved in data structures and metric design, implementation and guidance on usage in systems. We also approve and provide consulting services on almost anything and everything that can potentially impact topline to all our business partners (Sales, Operations, Products, Customer Success etc) and ELT. Finally, the Commercial team is heavily involved in vetting corporate strategic initiatives and due diligence in an exit.What You Will Do:
Provide support for Central Finance team in projects related to annual topline planning, quarterlyforecasting, and quarterly/monthly reporting.Analyze and explain variances in financial trends.Manage ad hoc data requests for key financial metrics by extracting and validating data fromvarious sources such as Google Looker or Salesforce, and providing insights into results whenneeded.Consolidate topline metrics in financial report templates from our owners.Assist in populating existing financial models and creating new models as required related totopline metrics including, but not limited to: bookings, ARR, renewals, and revenue.Work with other organizations such as Revenue Accounting to validate system data and submitadjustments as needed.About You:
1-3 years experience in finance, analytics, or equivalent roleBachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related fieldStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExtreme attention to detailMotivated to solve problems and think outside the box in a fast paced and challengingenvironmentWorking knowledge of financial metrics such as revenue, ARR, bookings, and contract renewalsAbility to work on multiple projects (ad hoc or established) with tight deadlinesComfortable working in Microsoft suite products (Excel and Powerpoint), as well as Googleproducts (Google Sheets and Google Slides)Experience with Google Looker platformCapability to write and execute SQL queriesHas interest in automation, AI applicationBase Pay Range: $80,000 to 100,000. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
