Description We are on the search for a Financial Analyst. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, this role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing financial data, leveraging your proficiency in Excel and other database systems. Responsibilities • Manage and analyze financial data to support decision making processes • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets and databases • Employ VLOOKUP and PivotTable functions in Microsoft Excel to analyze data • Maintain accurate records of financial analyses and reports • Ensure efficient processing of financial data and reports • Take appropriate actions based on the analysis of customer accounts • Resolve inquiries related to financial data and reports • Monitor customer accounts and financial trends. Requirements • Proven experience in the field of Financial Analysis. • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and management of complex spreadsheets. • Strong skills in data analysis tools like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. • Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. • Familiarity with financial regulations and standards. • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
