McGraw Hill conducts business through four operating segments: K-12, Higher Education, Global Professional, and International. The Finance Analyst will play a key role in the Finance Team, providing the financial and related operational support for go-to-market (sales) financial analysis and decision support activities, driving insights and recommendations to support revenue planning and optimize financial performance. This role will partner closely with the finance teams with a focus on revenue planning alignment. The incumbent should have proven interpersonal skills with a track record of establishing collaborative business relationships with cross functional teams within an organization. The role also requires the ability to manage and use large volume of data within analyses along with using existing resources to problem solve, and exhibit effective communication skills to work with all levels of management and staff. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. What You’ll Do: Develop, implement, and maintain financial models and statements, documents, related policies, and communications (includes finding opportunities to improve, automate and/or streamline existing processes) Play a key role in monthly financial reporting, forecasts and budgets; quarterly and/or annual business planning Conduct monthly, year-end sales performance and segment-specific analyses, and reporting, -- and help uncover insights and emerging trends Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams and leaders to drive productivity and operational efficiency Provide as-needed assistance for audits Create and present performance metrics related to revenue, revenue performance, and company financials using usage data and industry / macro factors & evaluation What you bring: Minimum of 1 year professional experience and at least 1 year of revenue forecasting experience Experience in finance roles, with a focus on financial planning & analysis, strategic planning, and decision support. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in financial planning and analysis functions. Preferred Experience: 3+ years professional experience and at least 1 year of revenue forecasting experience Extensive experience in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and advanced Excel skills; proficiency in financial planning software highly desirable. Proven track record of driving strategic financial planning processes, delivering actionable insights, and influencing senior leadership decisions. Why work for us? The pay range for this position is between $62,000-$80,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
