In this role you will be required to play a role in analysing and reporting on financial data within the organisation. Support basic financial analysis activities, prepare reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to drive financial performance. Leverage an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work within structured processes.Are you someone who can:Assist in collecting and organising financial data from internal systems to prepare routine financial reports.Support senior analysts in conducting basic financial analysis on key performance indicators to evaluate profitability and efficiency.Participate in budget preparation by gathering relevant data from stakeholders and verifying accuracy.Compile and prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries for management review, ensuring accuracy in data representation.Assist in reconciling financial discrepancies by investigating variances and making preliminary recommendations for corrections.Gather market data to contribute to financial forecasting models, providing context for future business planning.Collaborate with departments to ensure financial data is correctly coded and categorised for reporting.Monitor cash flow statements to identify trends and assist in liquidity management planning.Support the financial close process by ensuring data accuracy and timely completion of tasks.Conduct variance analysis on expenses to support cost management initiatives.Generate ad hoc financial reports upon request, providing basic analysis to support decision-making.Prepare financial summaries for project costing and evaluation, ensuring data integrity.Track financial metrics against set benchmarks, alerting senior analysts to any significant deviations.Assist in maintaining accurate records of transactions and accounts, adhering to organisational standards.Identify and report data discrepancies or errors, ensuring data quality within financial reports.Engage in collaborative efforts across departments, ensuring accurate financial information flow.Show initiative by identifying process improvements for routine tasks, streamlining workflows.Contribute positively to team projects, promoting a culture of high performance and efficiency.Embrace a learning mindset, seeking guidance to improve technical knowledge and analytical skills.Engage in innovation, proposing minor enhancements to existing analysis tools and methods.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:have a Bachelor of Commerce in Financehave 4 to 5 years experience in a financial organisation
